hello there.

i feel pretty lame for being a member of this website for so long, and having little to no impact on the community. all my fault for being so damn lazy. :/

i began regularly practicing photography my senior year of high school, with a pitiful point-and-shoot. i upgraded to a canon rebel xti in 2009, i believe (honestly can't remember for sure), then upgraded from that to my canon 7d in may of 2010.

i dabble in film photography occasionally. my main focus is in digital, honestly, because it's a hell of a lot cheaper.

2011 is my junior year at transylvania university (lexington, ky) (i shit you not my friends, it's a legit school). it would be my senior year, but i took a year to go to photography school, which ended up being a bust for me, so i went back to good ol' tu.

i'm an art major with my focus being photography (and (maybe) ceramics). richard avedon, nan goldin, annie leibovitz, and various photographers published in vogue are my main inspirations, but i also gain a lot of aesthetic inspiration from the artists i watch here on da.

my art degree is going to help me become an art teacher (high school +) and help me reach some pretty lofty goals i have set out for myself.

i'm pretty laid back and friendly, so don't be afraid to chat me up!
